About Kerri
Kerri is a forensic scientist with more than 30 years’ experience. Her areas of expertise include the identification of body fluids and the interpretation of DNA profiling results, the analysis of textile fibres, hairs and damage to clothing. She has extensive expertise in the evaluation of the findings in a wide range of different case types, including sexual offences and other serious crimes such as murder and assault. Mrs Allen has prepared many hundreds of reports and statements and has given evidence on numerous occasions, often at the Central Criminal Court. She has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Zoology and a Master of Science in Forensic Science. She is a member of the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences.
