On 1 October 2025, the Business & Property Team of 23 Essex Street Chambers (23ES) is holding a half-day conference at the Radisson Edwardian in Manchester on the topic of the Duties of Company Directors. The event will feature talks from a number of the specialist barristers practising from 23ES’s offices in Manchester and London, as well as providing an opportunity to network with barristers, solicitors, insolvency practitioners and other professionals. The keynote speaker will be Professor James Lee of King’s College London, who will be talking about recent Supreme Court decisions on fiduciaries.
