Casedo was invented by co-founder Ross Birkbeck when he moved from video-editing to law and couldn't find the tools he needed to do the job. As a video-editor he needed to bring together multiple different types of video and audio files to create a cohesive narrative for his clients. As a lawyer he needed to do the same thing with document and image files, but there was no software to do this easily and flexibly. So he created Casedo.
