About Christopher
Christopher Jeyes is a specialist criminal barrister with over 20 years’ experience prosecuting and defending serious and complex cases. Called to the Bar in 2005, he has acted in matters involving murder, serious violence, drug conspiracies, fraud and regulatory offences, appearing both as leading junior and junior alone.
Chris is known for his calm advocacy, detailed preparation and ability to manage legally and factually complex cases. He is a Grade 3 Prosecutor, Public Access accredited and has appeared before the Crown Court, Court of Appeal and Court Martial.
A Senior Scholar of Gray’s Inn, Chris graduated with First Class Honours in Politics and Modern History before completing his legal studies with distinction. He was also Gray’s Inn Mooting Champion in 2005.
