About James
James has been involved in analytical toxicology of hair and oral fluid samples since 2006. Having worked as Reporting Scientist at Tricho-Tech, he was part of Cansford Laboratories’ founding team in 2011.
From 2017 until 2019, James was Senior Lecturer in Toxicology and Separation Science at the University of South Wales. Today, is the Laboratory Operations Manager at Cansford Laboratories, and a member of: • European Workplace Drug Testing Society (EWDTS) • Society of Hair Testing (SOHT) • International Association of Forensic Toxicologists (TIAFT) • Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) • London Toxicology Group (LTG) • Advisory panel member for the Secretary of State for Transport’s Honorary Medical Advisory Panel on alcohol, drugs and substance misuse and driving.
