About Liam
Liam Hill is a Solicitor and Deputy Head of the Industrial Disease Team, having trained and qualified at Oakwood Solicitors. Liam joined us in 2013 after successfully completing the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law and having studied Law at Lincoln University.
Down-to-earth in his approach to legal advice, he is enthusiastic in ensuring the Claimants who instruct him attain the most out of their Industrial Disease claim. He is an experienced Industrial Disease litigator and is well versed in proceeding matters to trial where early amicably settlement cannot be reached.
Having a family background in both the military and woodworking/joinery sectors, his ability to understand the nature of Claimants working in those fields are second to none.

He has successfully settled a number of Industrial Disease claims, with a keen interest in Respiratory Disease cases and Vibration Disorders. A keen computer enthusiast – part of his role involves programming and administering the computer system utilised by the Industrial Disease department.
