John Faulds is a pupil barrister at 25 Bedford Row, called to the Bar in 2024. He began his second six pupillage in April 2026 under Paul Lazarus.

During pupillage, John has assisted with serious criminal cases and researched abuse of process, investigative failings, expert evidence concerning vulnerable defendants, and the admissibility of hearsay from overseas police forces.

Before entering the profession, he spent nearly ten years working in foreign affairs and security analysis for the UK government. He completed his legal studies part-time and volunteered at the South Westminster Legal Advice Centre.
