What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of information stored on a device when a website is used. Similar storage technologies are covered by the same principles. They can support security, remember a choice or, on some websites, measure and personalise activity.
What Chronicle Law uses
The rebuilt Chronicle Law platform uses an essential account-session cookie named chronicle_session. It keeps a signed-in member securely connected to their account and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Optional analytics
Chronicle Law may use Google Analytics to understand visits, page use and general website performance. Analytics is switched off unless you actively accept it through the privacy-choice panel.
If you decline, no Google Analytics script is loaded. Your choice is stored on your device so the website can respect it on later visits.
Third-party services
If you continue to a hosted payment page, the payment provider may use its own strictly necessary security and fraud-prevention technologies under its own notices. Embedded or externally linked services may also operate separately when you choose to visit or use them.
Browser controls and future changes
You can block or delete cookies and stored choices through your browser. Blocking the essential session cookie will prevent sign-in and member features from working correctly.
Any future advertising, personalisation or other non-essential storage requiring permission will not be enabled before an appropriate choice is offered and this policy is updated.
