ABOUT THE CONTRIBUTOR

Campaign Director at Will Aid.

Peter de Vena Franks joined Will Aid in 2015 and has led the campaign since then. It was in his prior role at ActionAid, one of Will Aid’s partner charities, that he saw the fantastic efforts Will Aid made in raising vital funds for charity. One of the most inspiring things about Will Aid for him was seeing how an industry came together, to support a cause.

To this day, it’s the commitment of solicitors taking part in Will Aid each year, writing thousands of wills, which makes the campaign so special to Peter – many have even taken part since the early 90’s!

Peter takes great pride in the impact the campaign makes to its partner charities, as he recognises the life-changing work they do in the UK and around the world. Not only that, but he sees it as a great opportunity for people to ensure their wishes are met when they pass away and have the peace of mind this brings.
