About Peter
Peter Doyle KC is a highly respected criminal and regulatory silk, called to the Bar in 1975 and appointed King’s Counsel in 2002. He has extensive experience across serious crime, public inquiries, regulatory and disciplinary proceedings, inquests, and complex corporate and fraud-related matters.
He has appeared at every level of court, including before the Privy Council, and has been instructed in major public inquiries such as the Stephen Lawrence, Marchioness Disaster, and Victoria Climbié Inquiries. His practice is now focused primarily on defending in murder, manslaughter, and serious violence cases, frequently involving vulnerable and neurodiverse defendants.
Peter Doyle KC is the founding Chair of the Kalisher Trust and leads its Senior Counsel Group. He is recommended in Doyle’s Leading Criminal Law Counsel - London 2025.
