View the series →Examine common leasehold issues that create enquiries, delays and lender concerns, with practical guidance informed by the UK Finance Lenders’ Handbook.
Acting on the purchase of a leasehold flat requires the conveyancer not only to investigate title but also to ensure that the property satisfies the mortgage lender’s requirements. While many leasehold defects are well recognised, they can still lead to enquiries, delay and, in some cases, a refusal to lend. This practical webinar considers how recurring issues can be approached in light of the UK Finance Lenders’ Handbook and lender-specific requirements.
