Debra Cairns believes that security shouldn’t be a luxury and IT should never be a roadblock. Following a nearly twenty-year career at Procter & Gamble (P&G) where she honed her expertise in finance and IT, Debra took the helm as Managing Director of Net-Defence with a clear-cut mission: to build a team of IT, cyber, and telephony professionals who prioritise what is right for the business, keeping resilience at the forefront of every conversation.
Under her leadership, Net-Defence operates as a specialist IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) and a vital frontline for cyber defence.
A firm believer that true leadership belongs in the community, Debra is a frequent fixture across the North East and Scotland. From the lecture halls of Teesside University to the tech hubs of Glasgow and Stirling, she invests her time heavily in educating businesses on best practices.
Whether she is collaborating with CyberNorth and ScotlandIS, or delivering sharp, industry-specific insights for Chronicle Law, North East Automotive Alliance (NEAA), and Xchange UK, she is passionate about arming organisations against emerging threats.
