As part of LGBTQIA+ History Month we share a short message from the charity Switchboard who have been supporting the community for over 50 years. Switchboard provide details of the training they can offer in the workplace to help your team become more LGBTQIA+ aware.
With National Coming Out Day (11th October) this week Bob Hughes of Switchboard LGBTQIA+ Support Line provides us with an update of the training sessions they have available to help support you in making your workplace more inclusive.
Switchboard launched this report in early July, giving insights into the current needs and challenges faced by the LGBTQIA+ community, and sharing these with other organisations across the LGBTQIA+ charity and media landscape, enabling these organisations to continue to tailor their support services more effectively and address the needs shared by LGBTQIA+ people across the UK.
