Section 5A of the The Road Traffic Act became legislation in 2015 following many years of failed prosecutions under the older Section 4, of the Act.

In this presentation, Alan Baker presents information on drink driving and the comparisons with drug driving. It includes comments on the collection and analysis of blood samples and the possible challenges to the prosecution’s forensic evidence following the Synlab data scandal.
