About Vincent
Vincent Theobald-Vega has nearly three decades as a health and safety professional and also took on the challenges of fire protection. Whilst an HSE Inspector (1989 to 1999) he undertook many prosecutions covering a wide variety of issues. Whilst working at Newcastle University (including as Head of Safety 1999 to 2012) he provided specialist health and safety services – including to other Universities and commercial companies, and undertook further training to conduct fire risk assessments for high hazard locations and contribute to the redesign of accommodation and laboratory buildings. Since 2012 he has been a freelance health and safety practitioner, trainer and more recently expert witness. Vincent also lectures for Northumbria University
